Has anybody had any luck trolling east of catawba this early in April. I've had good success in May right out in front of muzurik ramp. Would love to hear some input on that.

I've never tried in front of Mazurik early. I've had good luck between Mouse reef and the ferry lanes.

There is a reef in front of middle harbor. Just never tried it in April. In May all of south passage between the islands is usually very productive. Was trying to think of an alternative that would be out of the wind and maybe cleaner water.

We did pretty good last weekend southeast of Kelly's about 2 miles.

Never would have thought about that far east. Usually July or August when I head that way. Was you fishing the shoal.

No, 35 fow. Due south about 2 miles and then east a mile.
