Just trying to understand the calculations and method. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the 2oz were running at 29' and the Bandits with 3oz with the same amount of line out were a little deeper. Exactly how deep? I couldn't tell you...it's not on the app. I just know it's going to be deeper.

No, I do not say to myself, "I need to stay 5' above those fish". I do however, stay above them. The most active fish will not be hunkered on the bottom. The cleaner the water, the further they will come up for it, because they can see it. There are fish all through the water column on most days.

I'll start with something high in the water column, in the mid-range, and deep. Whatever produces the first few fish will get me to change things up to that depth on most of the rods.

It's just a puzzle you have to put together every morning. Let the fish tell you what they want. There is no magic formula, because fish change with the conditions every day (unless it's stable weather for a few days, with the same conditions every day, then you can pretty much keep doing what you did the day before to keep catching them, until something in the puzzle changes...like wind direction, wind speed, and current, etc...then, you start over putting the puzzle together again).

Hope this helps...
