I know others talked about the spiney water fleas were in the stomachs of the perch, but the season never seemed to turn around in September and October. What did everyone else experience? I am worried this upcoming spring may be tough too. I don't see anyone mentioning catching any perch on the forum since the end of Oct. The fall Walleye season seems to have attracted everyone with great fishing.

I experienced a very good perch season... It did start off hot but remained good for us throughout early November(winterized boats). We're fishing west of you. Most times 2 guys fishing we would limit or come close. The average size was awesome .. 8" to 13" very little sorting. We could usually get on them with a couple moves and a little patience. I have noticed over the last few years were catching them in deeper water later in the year( 23 ' or deeper) They just are not hanging shallower consistently ( I have my theories)
