Capt. Juls, How do you freeze your shiners? we usually drain water and give them a drink of 90% rubbing alcohol or cheap vodka. Also do this with left over leeches.

I learned this from Pooh Bear and Pirate Clipper a couple years ago....I drain the water and just cover them in Wintergreen Rubbing Alcohol, and freeze. I use little tupperware containers for ease of use and easy storage in my freezer too.

The wintergreen rubbing alcohol is found right next to the regular rubbing alcohol at the store.
