Leadcore Rods

Was going to invest in some leadcore set ups this year to fish the eastern basin. Went with high ratio retrieve Saltists for the reels. Can anyone suggest rods? I would be running them on big boards.

I use these for my normal trolling on both big boards and small and for dipseys, but they say lead core on the rod so I would assume they are ment for it specifically.

I use the same rods as brahma for trolling both inline and Dipsy divers. I never seen the reason for expensive rods for trolling. For leadcore i use an 8'6 med heavy okuma for 6 colors. The mediums have too light a tip when pulling that much weight and a big board. I usually run a bandit and it puts me around 53 foot when trolling around 2 gps. I use the okuma magda pro 30 reels and run all braid backing so i can get some extra depth if needed. Only rod i spend money on is jigging/casting and gloomis is my only choice.

ive used just about every rod but the last 3 yrs I use okuma copper leadcore rod really like them for big board trolling.They run about50.00 a piece highly recommend they will go good with the saltist as I know its the same combo I use.Really nice for walleye or salmon

yes its a pro GLT copper leadcore 8.5 ft ROD It can be found on google just make sure the words copper leadcore are on it.
