Lots of guys out at Catawba and some at Camp Perry . The ice is in very good condition at both places. This weekend will be a mad house at both places , so get there early. The 911 crack is always there however . Take extra gas and make sure your machine is full when heading out . If and when the cracks open , there are always options to ride east or west to find a place to cross . A few years back when the ice blew apart at Crane Creek , most of the guys standing there waiting to be rescued were out of towners . The locals rode east and had no problem getting back in on their own at all . Common sense is the rule on Erie during any season .
