Andriod App for marine navigation

Was wondering if anyone uses these type apps for lake erie. If so how was the experience? Downsides or flaws?

I just got the navtronics marine and lakes app. works well but I had a little trouble downloading. Maybe by my lack of ability. The biggest draw back is the size of phone screen and not being able to read with sun glasses on or in bright sun. A tablet would be a better bet for use.

I use it for ice fishing and as a backup if my lowrance fails. Don't forget to turn off the track feature when not in use it eats batteries up. It has a couple mapping faults I've found.
