    My umbrella net has slightly larger holes than the the nets locally purchased, lets smaller bait filter out. I'm going to try Ferry early next week and will let you know.

    Thanks Barry. I know I've found different sizes In the past if I tried down the wall a little. Instead of just in the corner.

    went to ft of ferry this morn all kinds of minnows if you go in the corner there alots of smalls one go down the wall about 30 to 50 ftand drag you net along the wall there moving up got plenty to salt in 10 min there a bit larger along the wall yellowpike1

    All emerald shiners work for pech out on the lake. You just have to let the size of the bait tell you what size of hook to use. I was using pinheads and a #8 hook 3 weeks ago and the fish were annhilating them. Big perch feed on what's available. I'm not afraid to head out on the lake with pinheads but big minnows stay on the hook a little better.

    Perch fishing in the AM, going out of the Catt. will report on action. No minnows at Ontario st. & too much crap in the corner at ferry st to get them, me & 3 other guys tried with no results!
