Went perching yesterday(Mon.) out in front of the Catt. 63 fow. We (3) got 50-60 only 2-3 over 13" most were 10-12" . A couple of boats were right on them & were pulling in doubles of some bigger fish. The lake was flat & hot until the clouds came in & a nice breeze. Better than a good day at work! lol.

There were only pinheads at the river last week. We got golden shiners at Millers at the Catt. I used salted emerals & did as well as the goldens. Don't know what Daves has in Derby. Thats all I know for now.

Dave has goldens, was there today. I'll go with my salted Minns till the river loads up with bait.

Has anyone sifted through the emeralds with an umbrella net to find bigger ones ? Maybe thrown the net deeper outside the schools? I haven't been down to ferry yet to see but it's a possibilty

My umbrella net has slightly larger holes than the the nets locally purchased, lets smaller bait filter out. I'm going to try Ferry early next week and will let you know.

Thanks Barry. I know I've found different sizes In the past if I tried down the wall a little. Instead of just in the corner.
