Hello, everyone! Got out this morning and fished the 45 fow to the North and West of the Seneca Shoals buoy, about a half mile from the fence. Boxed one 27-inch fish that weighed in at 6.5 pounds and hit around 7:20; lost another fish that sure dragged like a walleye but didn't get to see it. Otherwise there were a few fighting sheephead to finish things off. Fished with harnesses off bottom bouncers; 5 chartreuse beads with the hammered silver #4 colorado blades again got most of the action. Quit by 10:00. Beatiful day to be out! Coming back we saw over ten boats hanging around the Seneca Shoals buoy but didn't see much happening.

I saw an earlier comment about wire versus mono harnesses. I actually tie all of mine with fluorocarbon line. I have lost a couple to break-offs over the last few years but that's been all- when I first started I thought surely more fish would cut through the line but thankfully that hasn't happened. Still being a relative newbie I haven't experimented with much of anything else, and it seems like people have had good success with both. Interesting possibility, though...
