Out of DK landed 8 and lost an 8#, Best day offshore for me in some years. Got 3 off rigger set 65 to 70 down. 3 came off a dispey with 170 to 195 feet of 30# braid set on 3, and 3 came off a offshore board using 140 feet of monel wire with 8 oz of lead. Hot lures continue to be the renowsky minnows in pink and some of the old pirates in the photo finnish that I painted half of one side with in pink.

Went out of SP to the line. One walleye missed a few. Beautiful day out there. Came on a dipsey 110 back with fiskillers harness. #3 setting port side. Colors were white and hammered copper with some pink. Barry i left many for you tomorrow. I'll think of you when I'm working. Someone has to put into the fund. Good luck everyone. I'll have a couple of tough innings to get through tomorrow night. What an opportunity.

Hello, everyone! Got out this morning and fished the 45 fow to the North and West of the Seneca Shoals buoy, about a half mile from the fence. Boxed one 27-inch fish that weighed in at 6.5 pounds and hit around 7:20; lost another fish that sure dragged like a walleye but didn't get to see it. Otherwise there were a few fighting sheephead to finish things off. Fished with harnesses off bottom bouncers; 5 chartreuse beads with the hammered silver #4 colorado blades again got most of the action. Quit by 10:00. Beatiful day to be out! Coming back we saw over ten boats hanging around the Seneca Shoals buoy but didn't see much happening.

I saw an earlier comment about wire versus mono harnesses. I actually tie all of mine with fluorocarbon line. I have lost a couple to break-offs over the last few years but that's been all- when I first started I thought surely more fish would cut through the line but thankfully that hasn't happened. Still being a relative newbie I haven't experimented with much of anything else, and it seems like people have had good success with both. Interesting possibility, though...

Barry go west tomorrow straight out of the catt in the trench 75-80 foot. 8-10 color lead was working best.

Fishon, way to get the fish, sounds like you had a great day. I was busy putting brakes & rotors on my boat towing vechicle today along with the help of my 3 yr.old grandson, seems to make the job take longer some how. How is the Catt. for launching , must be low water right not sure if I could get out there.
