New years day I checked lakevision and saw a boat at the mouth of Sturgeon Point harbor. In the water. It looked like a bass boat. It was in the am before the big blow hit. That's something you don't see in Buffalo on new years day.

No its not I wonder what the catch of the day was if it was calm should of made it to the perch grounds. Ill wait till spring I don't like the idea of being out there alone if something went wrong. Gonna do the night thing this year see how it goes.

Happy New Year to all my fellow walleye warriors south of the boarder!! I fish out of Port Colborne and had a fairly solid year this year. We fished the Port Colborne Conservation Club's 444 last year as well as the Amara-Can out of Dunkirk and had a blast at both, and definitely plan on doing both tourney's again this year, as well as the Southtowns tourney also. And I definitely can't wait for spring to come!! Does anybody else fish any of the tournaments at the East End of the lake??

We trailer down the first week of May and stay on South Bass Island (Put in Bay) for the week. Last year was absolute ****, the weather didnt cooperate, the fish didnt cooperate because of the weather, water conditions, and temps we had around 20 guys with us we got 14 walleyes. 2 yrs with 16 guys we ended up with 240 walleyes!! This will be our 6th year going, its an affordable trip with a few guys and loads of fun.
