We had a good weekend on the lake. From vermilion to Avon point. Had to search some for fish, but the packs of fish are getting more organized. With the hot weather this week fishing will only get better from here. Trolling blind squirrel crankbaits and spoons are all I use. I'm sure the other baits will work also.

Out of 55th st cleveland fished in 50-55fow towards Lakewood about 5-6 miles out. Trolling wonderbread bandits and spoons. Bandits 125-150 back on boards with 2 oz wits. And spoons 85-120 on divers. Marked here and there. Brought in 3 nice eyes, lost 2 at the boat, threw 5 back undersized. No garbage fish. Waves started at 1 ft at 8:30 then 1-3 and around 2-3pm legitimate 2-4 it’s was too nautical to enjoy. Will try again this week.
