    Default solving slow to plane & porpoising w/SMART TABS

    Has anyone had experience with Smart Tabs trim system? I have a 19.5 ft Starcraft Fishmaster with a 150 hp Merc and a 9.9 kicker. It is slow to plane and tends to porpoise. I bought the boat used last fall. I noticed the 150 had four holes drilled in the cavitation plate so I checked around and found the hole pattern matched a Stingray Dolphin. I added a dolphin to the 150 and the both the problems improved significantly, but there is still room for improvement. I'm thinking of installing the smart tabs sx9510-60 or st 1290-60 and taking off the dolphin. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.
