Simple, go 2 miles out on a little structure, drop a jig an minnow down and hop it off the bottom. Easy limit today doing just this. Early season must have minnows and a small variety of colors. Started with usual black/purple and caught one, other side of boat caught one on purple, then they only wanted white but one or two minnows did the main attraction. I put one minnow on stinger and one on big hook and Wham the next 3 and other side of boat caught equal on white. The minnows are nice size so far. Males doing some milking but not alot. Marked alot of fish, just move slightly to try to stay singled out. Boat ramps super busy early this morning so plan ahead on nice days. Water clarity around the reefs in close was slight stained yet. Water is cold so be safe and enjoy each nice day. Check all your safety gear and be courteous of other boats fishing close around your boat as there are Alot of people out in this early spring spawning time for our Erie walleye.
