    I see nothing in the extended weather forecast that would indicate that ice conditions are going to improve! In all likelihood there will not be an open water ice fishing season this year. Most likely there will be boat fishing in early to mid march if the weather conditions materialize as forecast.

    I agree, and if that is the case I am going to start the jig bite with my ice rods just to feel a little bit better!
