    BBG Electronics on Ebay has the Lowrance HDS 9 Gen2 for $990 w/ free shipping. These were something like $1500 units last year. It has the capability to expand to anything you want in the future like radar, Sirius radio, down/side scan imaging, and will link with autopilot and VHF through NMEA 2000 data networking cables.
