Which MFD do you have? I have the 9" touch screen non chirp. My tournament partner is a raymarine sponsored pro. We seem to use the non chirp when we're running and use chirp when at trolling speeds because the marks are incredible. Here's what I'm doing this winter, I'm gonna add another touch screen chirp and link the 2 together. That way I have the best of both worlds. If you don't buy another unit, you can buy there black box to add chirp. Pretty sure anyways. Aaron

I have the c97 non chirp. Glad to hear you say the marks are incredible when trolling. Will do the same when running and CHIRP when trolling. Thanks for the insight. I have all of the download info, hardware & software from Raymarine and will do the upgrade.
