Oct 21, 2015 Nearly 2 limits - Toledo Water Intake

Past the draw bridge the middle is plenty deep, I know some of the marinas off to the side have stuff clearly marked so there so depth issue, but there are alot of big boats through there so it must not be too impossible. The idle from the draw bridge is only a few mins, I understand being busy. But. Close to everything means more money, so it's all a balance. I have family at wild wings, nice location, most of the time good water depth, they now have cleaners on site, but have never used them. Great place for the jug bite minus the traffic. Most places to get fish are normally not more than 8 to 10 miles. I think dockage there is around that 700 range.

We liked the location, but at the time it was a little further from home, and they had some funky rules. I don't know if they still have them, but back then they told us that we weren't allowed to spend the night on our boat. I had never heard of a marina doing that before. They said it was because they had trouble with partying.

We really liked our dock there though. We were right at the end with the Charter boats. Our boat was small enough at the time that we got the last dock in the row across from Green Cove. They even gave us a discount because it was kind of hard to get in there and nobody wanted it. I wouldn't try that dock with my 27 footer though.

The best part was how close we were to the lake. We were making wake within 5 minutes of shoving off.
