Its one extreme or the other. I just came in. Had to run all the way out to west sister from point place to find water that wasn't brown. Then I wind up sittin in one spot with no drift castin in 28 fow. Wasn't feelin it so I packed up and came in early. It was more like a 3 hour boat ride. Oh well, maybe next time. Not to give you any crazy Ideas, but Jerry Able a reputable Charter Captain and guide would create his own drift with an electric trolling motor when the wind would die and it got flat out. Always seemed to help him in those conditions when others were struggling.
