This is my first post so try not to be to critical. We started fishing in the fog Friday morning on our first trip to the Island. Motoring a dew west toward F can we started picking at fish in 23 fow. RR and DHJ did all the damage with leads from 65 to 95 feet. Clown and pink combo colors along with wonder bread at 1.3 mph. did the damage. 12 fish for 96 lbs. at the cleaners, ( more on that later). Saturday began with an early start to avoid the launch crowd, we returned to Friday's weigh point. Purple was the flavor of the day, with 65 foot leads were producing a steady pick. At 9 am. we made a turn for an east troll kicked the speed up a notch and took 7 in 30 minutes to finish up. Eat was the best troll on both days. Another 89 lbs. of eyes. What a great first trip to the Island. We wondered why there are so few bank robberies in Ohio, must be the fish cleaners don't want to take a pay cut. Tried to post pics. but I haven't got that figured out yet.
