Finally went out after several trips and Sunday did well, not fast and furious but did well. ended up punching a 3 man ticket but had to do a lot of moving to get them. Started by the 3-4 buoy raisin river just a few then went to sputnik in the shipping channel slow but bigger ones, got pushed out by a large freighter went to the ohio side of the channel picked up some more, had to move the bite stopped went out about a mile towards west sister starting marking some and then tried there.

Bite was extremely light and when you felt the bite just leave it with lots of slack, half minnows worked best on perch rigs with only a bead yellow and blue bead worked best, slowly lift off the bottom and when you felt the weight after QUITE a few tugs set the hook! Some sorting and a few barn animals but man it was nice to finally get a limit of perch. Size that we kept ranged from 8 to 12 inchers, would love to tell you the weight but friend took them to the cleaners and no info at the time of the post.

Also the bite really picked up between 5:30 and 7:00 pm we only had 40 in the box then in an 1 1/2 hours they went crazy. Right place right time I guess!

Good Luck all and tight lines
