Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but it's been busy around here. Took your advice about Middle and got did pretty good the first day. Lots of small ones with a few junk fish in about 30 fow. The second day was a total washout in the same spot. My buddy hooked something that he couldn't even begin to retrieve. Whatever it was took almost all of the line from his reel, ran under the boat and finally snapped his line.

I've been catching a lot a big channel cats over here by Middle Bass while perch fishing. They're running for some reason, I bet that's what your buddy had on.
