So sad... Only hope is that they made it ashore quickly and hunkered down to survive the night. It was a cold night down here at 33 degrees, probably below freezing over the lake.
Prayers going out to the rescuers, victims and their families.
Lake Erie is still very cold. Temps up there are running 10 degrees colder than just 40 minutes south. That is a lot of cold coming off of that big body of water. Please wear your life jackets, especially when running. Not to say that they weren't/aren't, just with the cold water, you will lose movement of your limbs quick and down you go without a life jacket.21ft Red Mirrocraft Open Bow w/ gray Evinrude 120 OB. Nicknamed "Sunny Daze".
Channel 79, hit me up. Can be caught perch'n or drift'n around the islands when I make it out.

Thoughts and Prayers
Sending thoughts and prayers to the boaters and their families...praying that they will be found and perhaps someone picked them up or as another person said made it safely to shore.
