Good perch

I made it out with the wife and kids for a short perch trip. It was steady and the quality of fish was good. We had about 50 quality perch in just 2 hours. Only 1 was a throw back. Most were 9-10 inches. The highlight of the day was when my wife landed an 11 inch perch and a 23 inch walleye at the same time on a spreader. We noticed others in the area trolling for eyes and picking some. We were right on G can. The lake was calm, the water was very clean, clear skies, red hot sun! We jumped in 2 times to cool off and avoid the ankle biters (flies). They were thick.

Thanks Spoontang for the info. My wife and 4 year old daughter been wanting to go. I have had a ton of success up by B can just here and there.
I'll try G can with them so they don't get to bored.
