    Default Saturday crank bite

We started out very slow and only had 1 fish by around 10am. Some buddies was catching some so we started trolling there direction and never made. We got into a nice pocket of fish and stayed on them to get our limit. Speed was around 2.5 to 2.8 leads was 90-110. I think we only had 5 trash fish all day. The crew did a great job all day.

    Default daily changes

The late summer bite is hard to figure out. Everyday day is different. We could tell you exactly where the fish are and how we are getting them, but with all the variable between people , boats and gear it could make no diff. Thats normally how it works. Not trying to blow anybody off but one day a certain method works, then the next week or 2 days later or even the same evening is totally different. 100 ft back on my boat could be 125 on your reels or you have spiderwire 15 pound and I use 30 pound power pro. You only have 30 jets and I have 40s or 40TT. I can use stickbaits behind a dipsey to catch and you dont have the same one that I use. Some the pattern latey has been about 100 ft back on crankbaits off the boards and 35-40 on #1 dipsey and 50ish on #3 settings. Last week I caught with crankbaits from 1.8 to 2.9 mph or 2.1 to 2.2 kts. Thats what worked for where I was then the guys in the 30-32 ft of water have a diff setup.

    Default locations

Locations look to be anywhere from Toledo water intake area and east to the reefs. NE of the reefs towards North Bass, then all the water east of Kellys, north of Vermilion and Lorain and Geneva has been hot where our #2 boat has been for 6 weeks taking huge coolers of eyes. A 300 pound cooler of eyes taken this past Saturday in Geneva ! Perch has heated up all over the lake with good catches from same areas mentioned above.
