NOAA is the pits! Try local weather such as (Toledo 11 news, 13 ABC Action news, WKYC Cleveland) and Weather.com site for the city of your departure as well as this~~

Combine all the forecast from above and average them out for wind speed which will allow you to estimate an approximate wave height. The results are so much more accurate than NOAA which I never look at anymore.Wakina
