nice fish its amazing how fast they troll and usually you can see the baits just behind the boat. Did you get any bailing? Thats when a whole school follows a hooked up fish to the boat and you use spinning rods with bait to catch them. One year we landed 25 fish in 10 minutes doing that.

We mostly casted with jigs when we got into a school off them! We did use ballyhoo on the out riggers though! -Dave

If I recall correctly, when we got into a whole school of them (found a huge mess of seaweed on the way in one day which they apparently like) we were using cigar minnows. As long as we kept a hooked fish in the water until the next person hooked up, we were good. It was almost like fishing for bluegill in a farm pond the action was so fast.

Great looking fish. Have a safe trip back.

I have never reeled in for fish soooo fast! Its unreal how fast they are!
