There is a deep hole up near the Oh, Michigan and Ontario border convergence but do not have any GPS numbers for it. Only had a Sitex Loran C at that time and have been unable to find it since way back then, I have been over it twice long ago in the late 70's. I don't believe it is 100 ft. deep though but closer to 70 ft. and the area is not very big. It is possible it is in Canada or even Michigan as there was no way of telling exactly where the border was at that time while on the water. But it is in that area.

That is a deep crack and only a few yards wide been over that many times and you will miss it if you are not looking at your depth finder when passing over it. Head for Carpenters Point from the south side of Starve Is. and you should go over it. Its not far from Starve Is. never saw anything approaching 100 ft though but then I never tried to run the length of it only across it.

There is a 50' deep hole between South Bass and Middle Bass. I cross it often when I'm enroute from the State marina at Middle Bass heading to the Boardwalk to pick my wife up from work.

I remember going across that by Starve in the 80s and seeing the dept finder do a nose dive. Never did get the exact depth though.

I have been all over the islands areas and have never seen anything deeper than 55'. The hole you are speaking of is like 50' and I doubt if there is any place deeper than 55' until you get over in the central basin. I can confirm the other deep spots that have been mentioned, I've been over them all.
