    I have been all over the islands areas and have never seen anything deeper than 55'. The hole you are speaking of is like 50' and I doubt if there is any place deeper than 55' until you get over in the central basin. I can confirm the other deep spots that have been mentioned, I've been over them all.

    I too have found the deep hole near Starve Island. I saw it noted years ago on a lake chart I came across, so I went looking for it and found it. I went slowly all around it and the deepest I found was about 55'. I would estimate it was only 40 yards wide by 60 yards long. I never have fished it.
