Agree with Russ. If they don't dredge the mouth (or we get huge rains) there are going to be problems getting out of Turtle with south wind (course that is nicest time to be on lake.) Problem is not getting out, it is knowing you will be able to get back in if there is any kind of south wind kicks up. Had that happen last fall when I got out easily one day, and kicked up mud to get back in. Recorded water level on USACE site for end of Feb shows almost identical to level last Sept-Oct. It is projected to come up some, but how much is the million dollar question, and long will it stay up. We need to not only think about now, but next fall.

Glad to hear they are dredging, just hope they get it all.
