RUSS have the answer to this one as well, stopped by Fenwick yesterday they have the dredging barge in the canals getting it done, uncertain on how far out they are going to dredge, I know the main concern for TC guys is the shallows near the lilies and the mouth of TC, yesterday reported 1'9" under the boat, wondering if that was under the gentleman's transducer or from water line down! At any rate they are dredging.

Agree with Russ. If they don't dredge the mouth (or we get huge rains) there are going to be problems getting out of Turtle with south wind (course that is nicest time to be on lake.) Problem is not getting out, it is knowing you will be able to get back in if there is any kind of south wind kicks up. Had that happen last fall when I got out easily one day, and kicked up mud to get back in. Recorded water level on USACE site for end of Feb shows almost identical to level last Sept-Oct. It is projected to come up some, but how much is the million dollar question, and long will it stay up. We need to not only think about now, but next fall.
Glad to hear they are dredging, just hope they get it all.
