    I'm from the eastern basin, not sure how your wind was on the west side but ours was all directions all weekend according to the port colborne weather buoy. I remember because I was watching it and planning to go fishing (went on labor day) So I would guess that there should have been fish washing up all over I would think if the "lake immersion" story is legit. Just my non-professional opinion. We didn't have any dead fish on the east side near buffalo and south from there where I launched.
