Brest Bay area
I see alot of you guys are out perch fishing...are they getting any walleyes in the Brest Bay area and if so, where? Finally got my daughter married and now am ready to do some fishing....did I totally miss it or are there still a few to be had? Hope to come down on Sunday, not sure whether to rig for eyes or say heck with it and chase some perch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I only know of one good report from BB, out at the MI/OH line running spoon harnesses at 1.0 mph, biggest was 6.5 lbs. Not hot and heavy but fish are there to be had. Biggest problem is the direction of the wind as there are alot of weeds coming down the Detroit River and could make it almost impossible to troll out there. Hope that helps.
I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.
