Tues 8/7 West Sister report

Tues report. Mediocre today. 5 keeper eyes, two guys, north and ne of West sister. Intended to troll, but predicted less than 1 footers were a nice stout 2 foot with some whitecaps when we got out there this morning. Decided to cast and picked up three on nice drift conditions. When it flattened out towards noon, picked a couple more trolling. Most guys coming into dock were about the same - 1/3 to 1/2 tickets, so fish were caught but didn't hear of anyone slaughtering them. Saw a few nice size fish at cleaning table. Interesting and maybe a first for me.... pulling harnesses and meat, but not one trash fish all day. Only walleye. Not too hot, nice breeze, nice day out there. Also, Hooker still had no live shiners.

I am going to fish that area in the morning. Did real good there last week. We pulled 72 fish in 2 days. But no big ones most were between 16 -20 we had a few 24 inches. I will post a report when I get home.

Yea, I talked to several guys who had good limits that area last week. Not yesterday. You should do good today...thay always bite when I'm not out. Ha!

Iam heading to TC on Saturday for a week, but with the big blow coming who knows where the fish will be after that. I have my vacation set and i cant change the date so what the heck i will give it a hard try. Walgill
