North West of West Sister Island fishing report

Fished July 4 North West of the Island bite was hot at first then slowed down . We limited out 36 walleyes . Ran Tru Trip 40's . Leads were 35 to 45 . Dipsy diver were set on a #3 setting at 45 to 55 lead . Speed was from 1.8 to 2.4 . All on caught on spoons . Farm animals were also very active .

when the bite slowed you should have tried a little more speed with spoons. we slaughtered them last yr with small spoons from galeforcetackle.com at 2.8 to 3.0. you were running harness speeds. next time try going just a bit faster if the bite slows down. we was getting limits for 5 with 6 divers in less than 5 hrs. it was great.
