Those Super Ski Boards suck they dont pull hard and the folding hardware always loosnes up. I use the same plans that were posted above for my boards. Mine pull like 30lb king..lol I added no weight all I did was draw the front of the inside board in towards the outer board about 3/4- 1"and it did the trick. Try that for harder pulling boards.

How low do those boards sit in the water? Just a thought ,I would use those boards just reconfigure them. typically the outside board is forward, if you relocated the folding hardware to change the stagger, and relocated the towing eye like the plans they might pull harder and still fold and it looks like it would only be a matter of drilling a few holes [you might have to play around with the location of the towing eye] JMHO

Auroalite Boards
Try looking at these boards. Ihave been running them for 6 years with no problems. They are pricey but are worth every dollar. Every time I loaned them to people they bought a set... Auroalites.com

The Aurora boards look nice and I do like that they fold up... but the price?? I might have to tinker a bit before I drop $350. Thanks MrGreen

If you want to make your own boards you can get the white board material called Azek. That's what I made mine out of. It is a composite decking material. The same as the boards. Some building supply stores have it. Otherwise save your tsime and get some from skipper9.

Carter Lumber carries Azek and it's cost the last time I asked them was $57.00 for an 18 ft pc. of 1 x 8 which of course is 3/4 x 7 1/2.

I will let you use a try a set of boards out. You can copy them or buy them for $150. The only reason that I am charging $150 is that that is how much it cost for me to make them. Let me know when you will be in marblehead Ohio and I will give you a set to use.
