Walleye jigging over the past weekend produced nice limits again.
Get in on the action of the spawn jig bite while the water is still cool.
This Sunday, April 15th is open for a morning or mid-afternoon jig trip for up to 6ppl. Morning trip leaves at 6:30 and afternoon leaves at 2:30 till near dark.
30ft Sportcraft in Fenwick Marina near Oak Harbor. All gear provided if needed.
Short boat ride for the early morning bite. Call soon for this date or ask about the next available date. Charter price is $540 for the group of 6ppl. for a morning trip and $500 for the evening trip.

Obviously the wind was playing tricks today. Boat #2 had a limit of eyes today jigging near shore. Had a wedding last night and decided to rest today. Thursday Friday and Saturdays bite was very good with limit catches in a few hours. Next weekend openings are only for evening trips on Sat and Sun the 21st and 22nd. We would leave the dock at 3pm and fish till dusk. Call by cell phone by Friday evening as I will be on the boat. I want to try two small groups or one group of up to 6ppl. Jig fishing the reefs is still on fire. Spawn will start to wind down as the water temp is increasing. Yesterday morning I went over the Maumee River and didnt see that many fisherman and the water was low. The rain last night may put some runoff into the bay and bring up some more fish as its still mid-April.
