Reel Time I have added a shot thru M260 to my center console I'll let you know how it works while making white water. Thanks for turning me onto Gil although he's ponited out that my Lowrace is not what I thought it was.

Sounds great. How easy was the M260 to install? It looks pretty simple as long as you have good access to the bilge which I have. Which Lowrance are you running?

Talking to Gil was one of the reasons I switched to Furuno for sonar. It's a different animal but once I got familiar with it I liked it. I have been using a Lowrance LCX-28C just as a chartplotter along side of the Furuno sonar. Found a good deal on a HDS-7 chartplotter so I'm installing it now and sold the LCX unit. I like running the two seperate units as aposed to one combo unit. Just seems to give me more options.

It was the easiest install I have ever done. I spoke to Pro-Line to confirm that the hull was not cored in the installation area. Luckily the hull is flat so I got a large tube of 3M 5200 and glued it down. Then I resealed the edges with 5200 inside and out I’m just waiting for it to cure so I can finish the install. Our marina doesn’t open the gate until April 1st so I should be ready by them.
