Sunday
Made a shakedown run after replacing a fuel pump I changed to electronic model every thing was tight and safe decided to fish outside the pack east
of W. Sister for about for about 90 min. ended with 40 in the box all nice
size and 11 lbs. at the cleaners, there were alot of throw backs which I can
live with and a surprise not one piece of garbage.
Returning to Turtle Creek we were pulled in at the BP station by ODNR and
just as we were about to leave the officer said there was a 15 in. perch
that he saw this afternoon.

Fished 3/4 m NE of WS. Had a slow bite that would heat up and slow down all morn. till we got 60 then slowed to a halt. Moved West of WS about 1 mile and picked up about 35 more and finished with 95 for 4 guys. Not great but nice day out there.

I don't mind being checked one bit, but sure wish they would do it down at the Fenwick and Turtle creek docks! If they pulled you in at the BP station, that can be a real bottleneck there, not to mention the bridge and all the metal piling walls to try and keep your boat off!

check point
heard thru the grapevine that the game warderns gave out maney
tickets for overbagging. You need to count and recount before you come in. Our sister charter hookN steady got a 14.75
