I second Jolly Rogers, another place I always like especially in the off season when it is not so crowded is the Catawba Inn. It is the place by the Put In Bay ferry on Catawba that just says Beer Food on the side of the building. Really decent bar food.I have not been there this year but I have been to Casa Las Palmas right by the route 53 exit off of 2 and it was pretty decent Mexican

I have heard good things about Waldo Peppers from my neighbors up there but I have not made it over there yet. Another place I have not been to eat at but heard good things about is Mon Ami restaurant right off 53, the thing I heard about the most is their seafood buffet, I heard it is not cheap but really good. I have been to Mon Ami for the Halloween party and I must say it was a really good time.

I have been to Cleats a number of times in the last two locations, for me it is hit and miss, I have not been overly impressed with it. I will say the last time I was there a couple weeks ago was probably the best food I have ever gotten there though.

I agree with Waldo Peppers. They have a nice place to hang out watch football and get $1.00 drafts. Thats where I will be this Saturday with my buddies on our last trip this year. I am bringing the boat home this weekend it is time to start hunting!

We were at Cleats last Thursday night. Their ribs were outstanding. Ribs are the Thursday special.
We like Diana's for breakfast, and they have inexpensive and good senior meals. Casa Del Palmas has real good Mexican food and is always busy, but usually not a long wait to get in.
Wadso Peppers is a good sports bar. Real good hamburgers.
Phil's Inn has excellent spaghetti and meatballs.
    These are our favorites.
