limit catches both days at the sand bar again. People were helping each other on the radio Friday it was nice to hear. Friday we were catching them on the bottom and Saturday worked better about 4 cranks off of the bottom. 2 great days on the water and we gave it a rest on Sunday. fished next to Skipper 9 on Saturday.

thanks for the bait we had a little minnow mishap.it seemed like they wanted live shinners over dead, it helped us get that last bit of perch we needed.

You referred to the "sandbar." Where is that, if you don't mind?

its north of vermillion about 7 to 8 milles out, some people call it the lorain sand bar. It starts around 30 on the north and goes to the border and maybe 15 to 22 on the east west it kind of covers a large area. If you want my exact numbers send me a pm. there was a big pack of boats fishing at the 30 north and 19 to 20 on the east west, and a smaller pack at the 34 20

Growing up, dad had a small boat and we used to perch fish off Catawba and Marblehead. This spring I bought an 18.6' boat and trying to learn as much as I can about some of the other areas available for both perch and walleye.
