Water Dogs~ Perch Report

~no perch but plenty of sheep head~
went to "H" can and caught a bunch of sheep head~ waves were rolling 1-3 with a 4 every now and then.
They were not big enough to try the "poor mans shrimp" noted on the sheep head thread. But the sea gulls seem to like them.
I did not have a lot of time to fish today but it was still fun.

Just south of sugar island in 30 fow~minnows, spreader and no bling.
I caught plenty of Gobies too, they were mixed in with the perch so I feed them to the sea gulls~
See my biggest Yellow Perch ever?~! 14 inches.

Great job. Sounds like I needed to keep heading north. I tried 7-8 spots around Green and Rattlesnake islands today. I just couldn't get anything going. It was slim pickings. I probably caught 20, but only 6 that were big enough to keep.

30 more perch east of Niagara in 30 fow using minnows, spreaders and no bling. 8# at the cleaners.
Also caught a catfish, several sheephead and very few white perch.

Sunday was a "no perch for you day".
It happens.
Went to "G can" a lot of white perch, went to Niagara ~ 2 yellow perch, went to Green Island 5 yellow perch.
No sun and overcast ~ maybe that was it.
rumor has it not many did well.
Still like being on the lake.

60 Yellow perch in 30 fow just south of Sugar Island.
spreaders shiners and no bling.
Once they started it was steady ~ some sorting.
~ a few white perch and some gobies and one sheep head
16 pounds at the cleaners

caught my limit of walleye and went to the honey hole at "H" can, it is too early, no bites and not even a gobie~!
~they are shooten at camp perry so look out for the range rangers.....
