Left Fenwick around 7AM.Headed north of West Sister.Got in a pack of about 50 boats.Caught one walleye on a harness.Fished there about 2 hrs.Water was clear but fishing was tough.Heard that head boats were fishing north of North Bass Island so went over there.Water was muddy and fishing was tough.Caught a few perch and a couple of sheepshead.Did see a boat trolling pick up 3 nice walleyes within 100 yds. That seems to be the ticket to putting fish in the cooler. We marked fish all day but they didn't want what we were offering.Still it was a beautiful day on the lake.

Fished for four hours Northtwest of the island today. Ended up with 6 walleye as well as a half dozen perch casting. Trollers seem to be netting a few more fish if that is how your want to fish. A lot of white perch. Gold blades or silver with green blades caught the fish.

I think we made a mistake leaving our spot north of West Sister. The wind died down and we could not get a drift going so we moved. As we were headed in I kicked myself for running clear over to North Bass Island.I should have toughed it out and we probably would have been rewarded with a couple more fish.
