I have a 19ft Deep V and I know I have to watch the wind very close. What is the best wind as far as wave report goes? Any help would be great!
Long drive from Illinois to not be able to fish becasue of the weather.

Fished reefs on Fri 4/29 zero fish, Sat 4/30 16 fish (water clearing), Sun 5/1 18 fish (water better than previous days). Had six guys on a charter. All fish caught on hair jigs (purple/flash and pink/purple). Sat. was probably the first time I actually changed from 5/8 oz, to 3/4 oz, to 1 oz. hair jigs all in the same day. and that was with a drift sock.
