went out of state park yesterday (fri) about 1.5 miles to the nw 22 ft of water we had 8 inches of ice , tons of shad on vexlar no eyes to be found. this is my second trip out same result. went out mlk day 6-7 inches ice all shad. seems to be a problem , will try again next wk. the parking lot at state park was just about empty!
