started out of mienkes marina at 9 am , 37 degrees and 3 to 4
ft. waves out of northwest, water at mouth of lake soild mud,
made our way out to 1.5 miles out off little cedar point, caught
16 perch up to 11 inches, move back in to 13 ft. of water about
half mile off shore, found clearer water could see down 2 ft.
end up day with 96 perch at 24.5 lbs. 5 hrs fishing for 5 guys,
very tough fishing had to peck at them, water lay down to less
than two ft. water cleared a little, but still mud in other places.
a little strip of clearer water close to tip of little cedar point, this was our last trip, will pull boat next sunday, what a way
to end a great perch season. only seven boats on whole lake today.
