sunday perching, new way to perch

thats a new mix.I've tried similar,just added 18 inch leader off of center weight loop on the spreader and followed similar casting,gets tangled if your not careful when casting though.
I have noticed the red hooks work very well when the bite is light,a #2 to keep em from swallowing too far.

friday northwest of west sister 3 man limit fish all 9-12 inchers spreaders on bottom no bling. saterday was a little slower but got some nice fish 5 guys 130 fish same place same way. sunday was even slower for us 5 guys 100 fish again nice fish 8 - 11 no 12s again same place same way but we did switch to some bling on sunday great weekend of lake erie fishing nice when your perching and you think its a sheephead only to find jumbo doubles

Fished Friday through Monday, 5 miles out of Cooley Canal at 30 degrees. 3 man limit every day, just off the bottom using gold spreaders and true turn hooks (red). Each day got a little harder to limit, size was mostly 7 - 9.
