sunday perching, new way to perch
went back to same place as sat, 11 miles out west of west sister, calm seas changed the fishing, everyone strugglle
and at noon perch shut off, we had 60 at noon, move to
mcdonalds bouy (green and white) no one doing anything,
watch one person jigging doing a little, sea went dead calm,
so we change our gear to one quater ounce split shot, with
eighteen inch lead one bead and a red hook, one rod we keep
close to boat on bottom with 2 ft/ of slack line, the our we
cast out 25 ft. or so open the bail and let settle to bottom
with slack line, wait a minute, and slowly brought it in
like walleye casting, it work like a charm caught 210 more perch
in next 5 hours while everyone else caught nothing, final
catch 9 man limit 270 perch 59.75 lbs. water very green from mcdonalds
to shore. Dicks had great minnows today.
