First no one had minnows at 3.00 pm got dead ones off friend
from morning trip, fished turnaround bouy,from 4 to 7pm.
130 perch, 32.5 lbs, fish ran from 8 to 10 inches, crappie rigs,
and single hook rigs. must be on bottom.

Fished Saturday morning after searching for minnows - bought golden shinners off AJ's and fished 3 hours with 5 moves. Anywhere from little cedar point to length of shipping channel over to south of the gravel pit. Best spot was the gravel pit. Kept 35 and sorted a lot of small fish. Some big perch but the bite was slow. Did not see much going on with any other boats as well.

Fished Shipping Channel Sat. late morning early afternoon. After finding Minnows. Caught 70, best fish were further out with size and numbers both increasing as we got deeper.

Which bouy is considered the turn-around bouy? Thanks in advance for the info!!

I fished today from 7:30A until 12P. Caught a bunch of yellow perch, but had to sort for the nicer ones. I fished the East side of the shipping channel at the big Green/White bouy. I caught a 14 3/4" perch there a couple weeks back, so I keep heading to the same area. I had a mix of golden shiners and lake shiners. The fish were pounding the golden shiners more so than the lake shiners, which I thought was odd.

You'll find alot of opinions about what buoys are where and what they are called. This is the best info i've found and any posts i have from here on out will refer to these spots.
